The IMAI is a governing board committed to advancing the teachings and values of Professor Robert J. Cooper. Through the provision of strategic resources for schools and instructors, the IMAI will create a body of knowledge to maintain the integrity and rich traditions of the Cooper Ryu Vee Jitsu system.

As students and instructors of Cooper Ryu Vee Jistu, we strive to be superior martial artists whose values are reflected in our actions and words.

As an organization, the IMAI is a resource for practicioners of the Cooper Ryu Vee Jitsu system. The IMAI has standardized curriculum for promotion and maintains high quality schools. Most importantly though, the IMAI archives the history and lineage of Cooper Ryu Vee Jitsu and its instructors, thus preserving an accurate representation of our story.
